Nashville, Tennessee

Nashville was AWE-SOME. Other than the crumby weather, we had a great time. We stayed at a touristy campground, which is all you can really find around the city. We took a shuttle from the campground to downtown Nashville and paid a visit to the CMT  Country Music Hall of Fame. It was totally worth it even if your not a huge country fan. They had everything from Elvis's cadillac to Johnny's black suit.

For the rest of the night we bar hopped all over the place, trying not to stay in one bar too long. We saw some really really good bands and solo acts. It was a great mix of cover songs and original music. There were no cover charges anywhere either, which is the way I think it should be.

Well we paid for those whiskey drinks and mammoth beers in more ways than one. We had a slow start this morning and had to make a couple stops including the pump out, gas station and of course McDonald's. In my book of hangover remedies, a double cheeseburger and fries with an ice cold Coke usually does the trick. Brian even claims it was the best McDonald's he has ever been to. That's a bold statement right there.

We are on the road again now and headed back east to the Great Smokey Mountains in North Carolina.

A few of the greats (and my favorites) Dolly, Patsy and Johnny
